User manual for the
CONNECT EMS App
Explanation of the app
The app is designed to let you choose between online and offline mode. In online mode, your profile data and settings are stored on an international server so that you or trainers can access them from anywhere. In offline mode, your data and settings are stored only on your device.
However, creating just one profile is sufficient, as the settings for each training program are saved in this one profile.
If you would like to save different settings for the same program, we recommend creating a second profile.
You can find the EMS CONNECT app here:
First launch
When starting the app, you can first choose between online and offline mode. Then select whether you want to train alone or in a group.

You can now select the CONNECT EMS product you will use for your training.

First connect to your CONNECT EMS Box by clicking the Bluetooth symbol in the top right.

Switch on the charged CONNECT Box by placing your finger on the indentation for approximately 2 seconds. Open the device overview and tap “Search”. The app will then display compatible CONNECT Boxes. Select your CONNECT EMS Box, e.g., “eagle_con000”) by tapping “Connect” at the end of the row.

Requirements for a Bluetooth connection
- The CONNECT EMS Box must be charged and switched on. You can tell this by the bright green/blue LED.
- Switch on the CONNECT EMS Box by pressing the button—a slight indentation in the center—for 2 seconds. The LED will turn on and light up blue.
- To switch it off, press the button for approximately 6 seconds.
- You must grant the app access to your location so that the Bluetooth signal can be processed correctly.
- You will NOT find the CONNECT EMS Box in your usual Bluetooth settings on your phone because we use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
To create a new profile or select an existing one, click the dice icon in the top right.

After selecting a profile, tap “Confirm” to access the training interface with the saved values.

You will then return to the training interface, where you can adjust the intensity of the individual electrode pairs, switch individual electrodes on or off, and select various programs using the program button at the bottom left.

Available settings under “Parameters”
The parameters already have default settings. By clicking + or –, you can adjust the parameters highlighted in black.
The following programs (“modes”) are already preinstalled in the eaglefit EMS SYSTEM app:
Fitness
Please select the “4/2” setting, meaning a pulse duration of 4 seconds and a 2-second pause. Ideally, tense your muscles for 4 seconds during training and relax them for 2 seconds.
The fitness program is ideal for building large-volume white skeletal muscle. It can increase your maximum strength and promote muscle growth. Your white skeletal muscles are best trained with 6–8 repetitions per muscle group at approximately 80% of maximum strength. The impulses are delivered to the respective muscle group at a frequency of 85 Hz without placing high training loads on the joints, ligaments, or tendons. The pulse width in this program is 350 µs.
Fitness training should be combined with exercises and can be complemented, for example, with sling training or HIIT training.
Recommended training:
-
Strength/dumbbell training
- few repetitions (6–8)
- 1 set per muscle group
Metabolism / Cardiovascular
Please select a pause duration of 0 seconds to create a continuous pulse. The pulse duration setting is then irrelevant.
The metabolic program, which primarily trains the slow-twitch endurance muscles, can be used specifically for muscle toning. It is our classic endurance/athletic program. Activating slow-twitch muscle tissue can reduce fat and improve muscle definition. The training frequency is 7 Hz with a pulse duration of 350 µs.
This program is ideal for warming up and improving circulation and metabolism. Ideally, metabolic training should be combined with endurance exercises such as:
- Nordic walking
- Jogging
- Cycling
- Exercises on cardio machines
- Yoga
- Static exercises (do not set the intensity too high)
Relaxation
Please select the “1/1” setting, meaning a pulse duration and pause of 1 second each.
This program produces gentle muscle twitches and promotes muscle recovery, faster regeneration and can also be used for functional recovery after illness. At a training frequency of 100 Hz and a pulse duration of 150 µs, tension can be released and the muscles supplied with nutrients.
You can use the relaxation program for 5–10 minutes after an intense workout (with or without EMS), or for 10–30 minutes at a moderate intensity after a strenuous day, for example simply while sitting on the sofa.
Choose a low intensity here—the pulse should provide a pleasant, massaging sensation.
Individual
Choose the settings individually according to your preferences or therapeutic recommendations.
Advanced users can freely set all parameters (pulse frequency, pulse intensity, pulse duration, pause, and training duration) with this program. Frequencies from 1–120 Hz and pulse durations from 50–400 µs are possible.
Deep Core for deep muscles close to the spine
This training program is specifically designed to gently yet purposefully strengthen the deep muscles close to the spine. The aim is to activate the deep stabilizing muscles in the back to relieve pressure on the intervertebral discs and support the spine in the long term.
How it works:
The program produces a steady alternation between muscle tension and relaxation. Moderate impulses at 27 Hz primarily improve muscular endurance and stability. The comparatively long pulse duration provides an intense yet gentle workout, while the short pauses enable consistent blood circulation and regeneration.
Application areas:
- Support for back problems related to disc issues
- Strengthening of the deep core muscles
- Prevention of poor posture and muscular imbalances
- Suitable for beginners as well as people undergoing rehabilitation
video training
In this program, you can have an avatar demonstrate training exercises and put together a small training plan from the preset exercises. What makes this special is that you can choose a different frequency and pulse depth for each workout. Simply hold your finger over the desired exercise for two to three seconds until the preview image is highlighted, then drag it to the row below and arrange it. You can remove exercises from the row in the same way.
fat burning
Please set a pulse duration of 4 seconds and a “pause” of 2 seconds. This special program combines the benefits of the fitness and metabolic programs. During the active phase, you train at 60 Hz for maximum strength, while during the passive phase (pause phase), the endurance muscles are engaged at 7 Hz. This way, you alternately target both muscle fiber types in one program.
explosive strength
Use this program to build muscle. What makes it special is that 100% of the set pulse intensity is delivered from the first second (ramp=0). This setting is particularly effective for athletes with explosive movements (such as golf), ball sports, or reactive sports.
mobility
The app setting for eaglefit EMS SYSTEM The app for mobility training is based on a special EMS program specifically designed to support muscle length and mobility training (Mobility) was developed. The training is designed for gentle muscle stimulation to support stretching ability, range of motion and neuromuscular coordination to improve mobility without excessively straining the muscles.
Characteristics of the app setting for mobility training:
- High frequency (120 Hz): This supports gentle muscle activation without strong contractions and is ideally suited to continuous movements and stretching exercises.
- Long impulse duration (350 µs): This reaches the muscles deep within, which is particularly beneficial for muscle-length training and mobility exercises.
- Gentle impulse intensity: The intensity can be adjusted individually and is selected to produce a pleasantly noticeable muscle contraction—ideal for supporting mobilization without pain or fatigue.
- Dynamic impulse patterns (front and rear chain): You can activate either the front or rear chain with just one click. This automatically allows you to feel and activate the right muscles.
- Interval duration: With the preset, you activate the selected muscle chain for 30 seconds at a time and can move into the other position during the 15-second pause. Training ideas for muscle-length training
Setting objective:
EMS support during mobility exercises helps relax tense muscles, improve mobility and, through additional neuromuscular activation, Training effectiveness to increase—especially in combination with targeted stretching and mobility exercises.
Pulse depth
“Pulse depth” allows you to set how long the impulse configured under “Frequency” lasts. This value can only be configured manually in the “Individual” parameter. A single electrical impulse can last 50–400 µs.
The higher this value is set, the deeper the impulse reaches into the muscle. For example, you can optimally target large muscles such as the thigh, gluteal, or back muscles with a pulse depth of 350 µs.
Impulse duration
Impulse duration in seconds, adjustable from 1–40 seconds (represented by a green number counting down during training).
Pause
Pause duration: 0–40 seconds (represented by a red number counting down).
Training
For most training programs, we recommend a duration of approximately 20 minutes per session.
Frequency
The number of impulses delivered per second. For example, in the “Fitness” training program, the muscles are contracted and relaxed 85 times per second.
How the electrodes on the forearms and calves work:
The farther we move away from the center of the body, the more sensitively the muscles respond to electrical impulses, and the more moderate the intensity should be. For this reason, on the CONNECT Suit, the forearm electrodes are linked to the biceps control and the calf electrodes to the hamstring control. Even without separate control, the forearms and calves are already activated via nearby nerve pathways. The additional electrodes specifically reinforce this natural effect, allowing the forearms and calves to be trained effectively and comfortably at the same time—ideally integrated into the overall EMS workout.
Training and exercises
General rule: If you feel unwell, stop training immediately and consult a doctor if necessary. Never train if you do not feel well or are ill.
Training must also be stopped in the event of problems with or malfunctions of the CONNECT EMS system. Contact the manufacturer in the event of technical problems.
1. Warming up
As with any fitness training, the muscles should be prepared for the upcoming exertion before an EMS workout. Warming up has the following effects:
- Conductivity between the electrodes and skin increases with light sweating
- Increased core body temperature
- Improved energy supply processes in the muscle
- Increased production of synovial fluid
- Increased motivation and focus on the upcoming workout
To warm up, we recommend a short endurance session, such as a few jumping jacks, burpees, or three to five minutes on a stationary bike.
Here, you can already set and activate low-intensity impulses.
2. Training/Exercises
In general, with the CONNECT EMS components, you can perform all movements and workouts both indoors and outdoors in dry weather. Your imagination is the only limit. Jogging, boxing, yoga, sling training, functional training, HIIT, or bodyweight training. Only moisture (e.g. rain) must be avoided when wearing the Suit.
For inspiration, your order includes a training poster showing exercise options for the entire body using your own body weight.
3. Stretching
After the workout, you should stretch for 2–3 minutes, if necessary combined with the “Relaxation” program.
Stretching has the following effects:
- Reduced muscle tone
- Improved breakdown of metabolic waste products
- Improved muscle recovery
- Improved mobility
