Manufacturer responsibility and international EPR registrations

As a responsible company, we place great importance on complying with all legal regulations regarding manufacturer responsibility (Extended Producer Responsibility, EPR). This especially includes registration and contribution to recycling and disposal systems in the countries where our products are sold.

According to the requirements of the respective countries, we as the manufacturer are obliged to properly register our products and organize the corresponding recycling channels. This particularly concerns electrical and electronic equipment, batteries, packaging, and textiles.

Notice of participation in the Landbell AG return system

Regarding the sales packaging that we have filled with goods for the first time and delivered to private end consumers, our company has joined the nationwide return system of Landbell AG, Mainz, to ensure compliance with our legal obligations under § 6 VerpackV. Please dispose of our products in an environmentally friendly manner after their lifespan has ended. Information about available return options and disposal systems in your country can be found from the relevant authorities or on the websites of the respective recycling partners.

Notes on battery disposal

 
In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries, we are obliged to inform you of the following:
 
Batteries must not be disposed of in household waste.
 
You can return used batteries that we carry or have carried as new batteries either at your own expense to us or free of charge at our shipping warehouse (shipping address). Alternatively, you can drop off the batteries at local collection points.
 
As an end user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries so that they can be reprocessed or properly disposed of.
 
Used batteries may contain hazardous substances that can harm the environment or your health if not stored or disposed of properly. However, batteries also contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese, or nickel and can be recycled.
 
The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meanings:
 
The symbol of the crossed-out trash can means that the battery must not be disposed of in household waste.
 
For batteries containing a certain amount of lead, cadmium, or mercury, the following additions under the symbol with the crossed-out trash can indicate the respective hazardous substances:
 
Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004% lead by weight
Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002% cadmium by weight
Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005% mercury by weight
 
Information on the included costs according to Article 56 paragraph 4 of the EU Battery Regulation (Regulation 2023/1542) can be found at the initiative "Batterie-Zurück".
