Manufacturer responsibility and international EPR registrations

As a responsible company, we attach great importance to compliance with all legal requirements for extended producer responsibility (EPR). This includes, in particular, registration and contributions to recycling and disposal systems in the countries where our products are sold.

In accordance with the requirements of the respective countries, we as a manufacturer are required to properly register our products and organize the corresponding recycling channels. This applies in particular to electrical and electronic equipment, batteries, packaging, and textiles.

For sales packaging that we have filled with goods for the first time and supplied to private end consumers, our company has joined Landbell AG's nationwide take-back system in Mainz to ensure compliance with our legal obligations under § 6 VerpackV. Please dispose of our products in an environmentally friendly manner at the end of their service life. Information about the return options and disposal systems available in your country can be found from the relevant authorities or on the websites of the respective recycling partners.

Information on battery disposal

 
When selling batteries or supplying devices containing batteries, we are required to inform you of the following:
 
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste.
 
You can either return used batteries that we currently stock or have stocked as new batteries to us at your own expense, or return them free of charge to our shipping warehouse (shipping address). Alternatively, you can take the batteries to your local collection point.
 
As an end user, you are legally required to return used batteries so that they can be reprocessed or disposed of properly.
 
Used batteries may contain hazardous substances that can harm the environment or your health if stored or disposed of improperly. However, batteries also contain valuable raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese and nickel, and can be recycled.
 
The symbols shown on batteries have the following meanings:
 
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol means that the battery must not be disposed of with household waste.
 
For batteries containing a certain amount of lead, cadmium or mercury, the following additions below the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicate the relevant hazardous substances:
 
Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004% lead by mass
Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002% cadmium by mass
Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005% mercury by mass
