Safety Instructions

Here you can find our product safety data sheet: to the safety data sheet

Pull-up Bar Wood/Ash

1st Variant: with Rope Loops

Pull-up Bar Rope Loops

Hang the 2 rope loops (see image above) of the pull-up bar into a carabiner. The pull-up bar is loadable up to max. 100 kg. You can hang the carabiner directly into a ceiling mount.

2nd Variant with Attachment Strap

Pull-up Bar Callout Length

You can change the length using the central length adjuster (see image above) on the attachment strap and/or by positioning the carabiner in the stitched area.

Training Tips

For beginners, it is recommended to start with rowing pulls and perform them in various variations (underhand grip, overhand grip, narrow and wide). For this, adjust the length of the pull-up bar to elbow height in the length-adjustable version.

Usage Instructions

Before starting your workout, make sure the pull-up bar is hanging horizontally. If necessary, center the knot. Before training, check the stability of the entire setup by visual inspection and gentle pulling.

If you need to reattach the Prusik knot on the pull-up bar, this video from 00:35 seconds will help you.
We use the same knot for our Sling-Trainer Allround. For the pull-up bar, we use a triple Prusik knot.

Exercises

You target different muscles by varying the grip type (overhand or underhand) and grip width (hands placed close, shoulder-width, or wide).

With adjustable length band

Inverted rows to prepare for free pull-ups:

  • shoulder-width stance directly in front of the pull-up bar
  • shoulders pulled back and down
  • core engaged
  • look forward
  • hands grasp the pull-up bar shoulder-width apart in underhand grip
  • the arms are bent
  • slowly lean back at an angle
  • extend your arms while doing so
  • the entire body remains straight with a stable core
  • slowly pull your chest towards the pull-up bar

3 x 12 repetitions with 30 seconds rest each. The longer the resistance band, the harder the exercise.

Free Pull-ups

To prevent injuries, please ensure correct form:

  • stand under the pull-up bar
  • grip the bar with equal distance from the center in underhand or overhand grip
  • pull yourself up with your chest until your chin passes the pull-up bar
  • keep your arms slightly tense while lowering down

Pay attention to your body balance and always keep your core stable and tense. To support your first pull-ups, we recommend the eaglefit natural latex fitness band.

TIP: Pull-ups are easiest with a close underhand grip. Crossing your legs gives you more strength. Avoid swinging. We recommend alternating free pull-ups and rowing pulls at first.

Care Instructions

Wipe the wood with a soft, dry cloth. Straps and ropes can be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth and mild textile detergent. Do not use harsh cleaning or abrasive agents or sharp or pointed objects. Sunlight can change the color of the wood, but this does not affect its function. The eaglefit pull-up bar must not be stored permanently in damp rooms, as it could deform.

Material knowledge

Pull-up bars from energy- and resource-saving production

The wood for your eaglefit pull-up bar comes from the Danube forest or the valleys of the Swabian Alb. There is enough water and nutrients there for optimal and strong growth of the ash trees, which is necessary for the good static properties of the wood.

After the ash trees are felled in winter, they are cut into planks in our neighboring town and then stacked and covered for drying.

The natural drying process fully preserves the static properties. Additionally, no energy is consumed for drying. Due to the longer storage of the wood exposed to sunlight, wind, and weather, slight color changes may occur on the surface. During further processing into eaglefit pull-up bars, some of this may not be removed, leaving a dark edge. This is not a defect but a sign of responsible handling of raw materials and energy.

Your new eaglefit pull-up bar will darken in the first few weeks due to UV exposure, as the light wood, previously protected, is now exposed to the sun.

We are pleased to provide you with a great training tool that you can use with a clear conscience, made from energy- and resource-saving production and crafted with much love just for you!
