How the CONNECT Suit works

The CONNECT Suit gives you a highly efficient, studio-quality EMS full-body workout - flexible, powerful and user-friendly. A total of 28 precisely integrated electrodes simultaneously activate 14 muscle groups, delivering an intense, time-saving EMS workout in just 20 minutes per session.

You train your chest, biceps; triceps; shoulders; upper, middle and lower back; inner and outer abdominal muscles; glutes; front and back thighs, as well as forearms and calves - for your most intense full-body workout.

The electrodes on the forearms and calves are deliberately connected to the Suit via flexible cables. This makes the EMS Suit especially easy to put on, provides a comfortable feel and reduces heat buildup, even during intense workouts. At the same time, the system ensures optimal impulse transmission and even and effective muscle activation.

Since the muscles in the extremities respond more sensitively to electrical impulses, the electrodes on the forearms are connected to the biceps, and the electrodes on the calves are connected to the hamstrings. This gives you optimally calibrated intensity and a particularly harmonious EMS workout.

Another advantage: You don't need any damp functional underwear. The easy-care EMS dry suit is simple to use and ideal for training at home, in the gym, or on the go. For the optimal fit, you can choose from 10 different clothing sizes .

The CONNECT Box (not included) connects wirelessly to the EMS Suit and gives you maximum freedom of movement during training. The wireless connection lets you combine EMS training flexibly with other types of training and sports equipment – for example, suspension training, jogging, bodyweight exercises, yoga, or Pilates.

The eaglefit CONNECT Suit is ideal for effective muscle building, activating deep muscles, supporting fat loss, and promoting an active, health-conscious lifestyle. EMS training also supports muscle maintenance, improved performance, and a better sense of well-being.

For your mobile EMS training, you need

This eaglefit CONNECT Suit, the corresponding eaglefit CONNECT Box (not included), and a smartphone or tablet with the free eaglefit app.
The app is compatible with Apple and Android devices, and can also be controlled via the Apple Watch .

Choosing the right size

Your CONNECT Suit should fit snugly so that the electrodes sit optimally against your muscles and can deliver their full effect. Since the material is very stretchy, if in doubt, you should choose the smaller size.

Use the following chart to find the right size for your EMS Suit:

EMS Suit Size Chart

Example: With a chest measurement of 108 cm, waist of 98 cm and hips of 101 cm, we recommend size XL, feel free to contact our customer support if you have any questions.

Important application instructions

People under the age of 14, those with heart problems or other cardiovascular conditions, electrical implants, metabolic disorders (e.g. type I or II diabetes, thyroid, liver or kidney conditions), cancer, an abdominal wall or inguinal hernia, or who are pregnant or undergoing chemotherapy MUST NOT do this training! We recommend EMS training only for adults.

Before use, please read the contraindications and safety instructions in the product description and operating instructions.

Frequently asked questions about the CONNECT Suit

How should the CONNECT Suit fit?
The CONNECT Suit should fit snugly against your body and feel like a second skin. This is the only way the EMS electrodes can work optimally and activate the muscles evenly. Make sure all electrodes lie flat against your skin and do not slip. The hook-and-loop fasteners should be secure without digging in or causing pressure marks.

What is the included waist belt for?
This ensures that your CONNECT Suit fits optimally during training and does not slip. The waist belt is only needed for very slim waists and should be used accordingly.

I have very pronounced differences in proportions between my upper and lower body. Can I still use the CONNECT Suit?
Yes. To ensure the EMS Suit fits optimally and all electrodes maintain even skin contact, we recommend optionally wearing a tight-fitting sports shirt or cycling shorts over the EMS Suit for an even better fit. Depending on your body shape, the CONNECT Vest or the CONNECT Pants may also be a suitable alternative to optimize the fit and electrode contact.

Can I control a CONNECT Suit with a PRO Box?
No, the CONNECT Suit cannot be controlled with a PRO Box. This is because the PRO and CONNECT systems are based on different EMS technologies, each with its own controls and hardware. Our customer support will be happy to help if you want to switch systems or have any questions.

How do I care for the CONNECT Suit?
After your workout, gently pat the CONNECT Suit dry and hang it up to air out. If needed, it can be machine-washed at 30 °C in the laundry bag provided. Use a suitable EMS detergent and avoid fabric softener or harsh additives. Then leave it to air-dry. Detailed washing instructions are included.

In EMS training, we simulate the bioelectric currents that are usually sent from your brain through your central nervous system to your muscles. Your muscles cannot distinguish where the stimulus comes from—they contract. The currents sent through the electrodes are so low that they can easily be generated by our CONNECT Box. We don’t need cables or a 220 V power outlet for this!

The advantage of time-efficient EMS training is obvious: your muscles work without you having to lift heavy weights. This protects your joints and even allows you to activate muscles deep inside, which are usually hard to train, such as your core muscles in the back. In general, muscle building and fat reduction are stimulated. This counteracts sarcopenia, the loss of muscle mass in people over 50.
With regular training, you will notice that you walk more upright, have more strength in everyday life, and that your entire body becomes firmer and more athletic. Of course, this doesn’t happen overnight, and you shouldn’t overdo the training—even though it’s a lot of fun ;)

Train only once a week for 20 minutes during the first 10 weeks; after this period, there should be at least 48 hours between training sessions. The reason for this lies in creatine kinase.

Brief, non-medical explanation of creatine kinase (CK levels):

Your muscles release waste products into the blood when stressed—the more stress, the more waste products. This is not due to the current or EMS, but to the (intended) muscle exertion.
Similar to after a marathon, it can be measured in your blood that CK levels rise after training. CK levels are broken down by the liver and kidneys. For this to work, you need to give your body about 48 hours and drink plenty of water (plain water without carbonation or juice) .Again: CK levels rise due to muscle work, not because of the current.

If you give your body the necessary time (also for regeneration) and take the contraindications seriously, the eaglefit CONNECT EMS system provides you with a perfect tool to perform health-promoting training with little effort and in a very short time. You can tone your body, build muscle, or reduce fat.

Explanation and studies on why back pain can be alleviated with EMS training

Electromyostimulation (EMS) is a method of muscle stimulation that transmits electrical impulses to the nerve fibers of the muscle to trigger a contraction of the muscle fibers. This stimulation allows muscles to be trained, strengthened, and built without putting high strain on the joints and spine. This can be especially beneficial for people with back problems, as many back pains can be caused by weakness or instability of the back and abdominal muscles. EMS training can target and effectively train these muscles to stabilize the spine and improve posture.

Several studies have investigated the effectiveness of EMS training in treating back pain. A 2017 meta-analysis summarizing the results of multiple studies concluded that "EMS training in patients with chronic nonspecific back pain can significantly improve pain, muscle strength, and physical function" (Source: Rabello et al., J Back Musculoskelet Rehabil, 2017).

Another study from 2016 found that EMS training can help improve muscle strength and clinical symptoms in older adults with chronic back pain (Source: Kemmler et al., Aging Clin Exp Res, 2016).

EMS training can also help improve blood circulation and metabolism in the back area. By stimulating the muscles and tissue, blood flow and oxygen levels increase, which can promote healing and regeneration of injured or irritated tissue. This can also reduce pain and improve the flexibility and mobility of the spine.

Another possible mechanism by which EMS training can relieve back pain is the reduction of stress and muscle tension. EMS training can help increase the release of endorphins and other relaxation hormones that reduce pain and anxiety. Additionally, EMS training can relieve tension caused by everyday strain on the spine by targeting specific muscle areas. Overall, there are several plausible hypotheses and studies suggesting that EMS training from eaglefit can be an effective method for relieving back pain. However, further research is needed to explore the long-term effects and optimal training conditions.

Regular training with the EMS suit can help you reduce your measurements, build muscle, and reduce fat. You don’t need expensive and unhealthy medications or even injections to lose weight.

We recommend hand washing for the eaglefit CONNECT EMS Suit.
Alternatively, you can wash the Suit in a laundry bag in the washing machine on a gentle/delicate cycle at 30 °C. Close the zipper and all Velcro fasteners beforehand.

We recommend using a mild detergent (e.g., eaglefit Lavendelkraft or DENAA+ WASH from our webshop). Never use caustic solvents/abrasives, disinfectants, or detergents with additives like chlorine or bleach. If the Suit is still too wet after washing, you can spin it at a maximum of 400 rpm in the spin cycle. To dry, simply hang the Suit on a hanger and let it air dry – preferably with the electrode pairs facing outward.

Never dry your eaglefit EMS clothing in a tumble dryer and never expose it to direct UV radiation. This can cause damage to the material.
