During EMS training, we simulate the biocurrents that are usually sent from your brain to your muscles via your central nervous system. Your muscles cannot distinguish where the stimulus is coming from - they contract. The currents that are sent via the electrodes are so small that they can easily be generated by our POWERBox. We don't need cables or a 220 V socket for this!

The advantage of time-efficient EMS training is obvious: your muscles work without you having to lift heavy weights. This protects your joints and you can even activate muscles deep down that are usually difficult to train, such as your supporting muscles in your back. In general, muscle growth and fat loss are stimulated. So-called sarcopenia, i.e. the loss of muscle mass in people over 50, is counteracted.
Through regular training, you will notice that you walk more upright, have more strength in everyday life and that your entire body becomes firmer and more athletic. Of course, this doesn't happen overnight and you shouldn't overdo the training - even if it's a lot of fun ;)

In the first 10 weeks, only train once a week for 20 minutes. After this time, there should be at least 48 hours between training sessions. The reason for this lies in creatine kinase.

Short, non-medical explanation of creatine kinase (CK values):

When you exercise, your muscles release harmful substances into your blood - the more strain, the more harmful substances. This is due tonoton the current or the EMS, but on the (desired) muscle effort.
Similar to after a marathon, it can be measured in your blood that the CK levels increase after training. The CK levels are broken down by the liver and kidneys. For this to work, you need to give your body approx.48 hoursTake your time and drink plenty of water (just still water or juice)drink.

Explanation and studies on why back pain can be alleviated with EMS training

Electromyostimulation (EMS) is a method of muscle stimulation that transmits electrical impulses to the nerve fibers of the muscle to trigger a contraction of the muscle fibers. This stimulation allows muscles to be trained, strengthened and built without placing high loads on the joints and spine. This can be particularly beneficial for people with back problems, as many back pains can be caused by weakness or instability of the back and abdominal muscles. EMS training allows these muscles to be trained specifically and effectively to stabilize the spine and improve posture.

There are several studies investigating the effectiveness of EMS training in the treatment of back pain. A 2017 meta-analysis summarizing the results of several studies concludes that "EMS training can produce significant improvements in pain, muscle strength, and physical function in patients with chronic nonspecific back pain" (Source: Rabello et al., J Back Musculoskelet Rehabil, 2017).

Another study from 2016 found that EMS training can help improve muscle strength and clinical symptoms in older people with chronic back pain (source: Kemmler et al., Aging Clin Exp Res, 2016).

EMS training can also help improve circulation and metabolism in the back area. By stimulating the muscles and tissue, blood flow and oxygen levels are increased, which can promote healing and regeneration of injured or irritated tissue. This can also reduce pain and improve flexibility and mobility of the spine.

Another possible mechanism by which EMS training can relieve back pain is the reduction of stress and muscle tension. EMS training can help increase the release of endorphins and other relaxation hormones that can reduce pain and anxiety. In addition, by targeting specific muscle areas, EMS training can help relieve tension that can arise from everyday stress on the spine. Overall, there are several plausible hypotheses and studies that suggest that EMS training from eaglefit can be an effective method for relieving back pain. However, more research is needed to explore the long-term effects and optimal conditions of the training.

Please only clean the PRO EMS POWERBox with a soft cloth and DO NOT wash it or bring it into contact with water.

We recommend for theeaglefit®PRO EMS suit hand wash.Alternatively, you can wash the suit in a laundry net in the washing machine on a gentle cycle at 30 °C. Close the zipper and all Velcro fasteners first.

We recommend using a mild washing powder (e.g. ECOVER or Frosch Color or the liquid detergentDENAA+ WASHfrom our webshop). Never use caustic solvents/scouring agents, disinfectants or detergents with additives such as chlorine or bleach. If the suit is still too wet after washing, you can spin it at a maximum of 400 rpm in the spin cycle. To dry the suit, simply hang it on a clothes hanger and let it air dry - ideally with the electrode pairs facing outwards.

Dry theeaglefit®Never tumble dry the PRO EMS suit or expose it to direct UV radiation. This can damage the material.

Ask:Do I have to wear the EMS suitmake wet?
Answer: No, since we are dealing with arealDrymen's suitIf you work with a body that no longer has cotton (=non-conductor) covering the electrodes, this suit works dry. Since the electrodes lie directly on the skin, the current can be transmitted better and over a larger area. The impulse penetrates deeper into the muscle, and the feeling is more pleasant than with EMS clothing. If you have very dry skin or excessive body hair, it may be advisable to use aElectrode gelto use. The electrodes conduct when dry; the skin needs to be slightly moist for good conduction.

Ask: How many electrodesare in the suit and where are they placed?
Answer:There are 24 electrodes, or 12 pairs of electrodes sewn into the suit, which can be controlled individually. Placement: shoulder, biceps, triceps, chest, upper back, mid-back, lower back, buttocks, inner abdomen, outer abdomen, front thigh, and back thigh. Answer: EMSmeans Electrical Myostimulation(5 to 120 Hz) ,EMAmeans Electrical Myoactivation(from 1,000 Hz). During EMS training, the current flows from the electrode through the skin to the nerve and then into the muscle. During EMA training, the current flows from the electrode through the skin directly into the muscle, without the nerves noticing and without the signal having to pass through the neuromuscular junction between the nerve and muscle on its way to the muscle. Answer:The frequency depends initially on your individual training status. If you have never completed EMS training before or have had a longer break from training, one EMS session per week is recommended for the first 10 weeks.
